We just got home from a day at the zoo. Grandma Manscill, Aunt Sarah, Makayla, and I all went to the Hogle Zoo on a very busy day. We forgot it was UEA and deer hunting weekend so needless to say it was a crazy day with the animals. This was Makayla's second time going and went better than the first time. This time she was awake the whole day and loved all the animals. We enjoyed seeing her smile, wave, and make all the animals sounds as we got to each one. It was pretty crazy though that we tried to get pictures of her at the statues of the animals, but she was scared to death. When we got pictures of her by the live animals she loved it. If you have been on the new carousel, I highly recommend it. She loved riding on the bear and wanted to go on it again. The train was also a highlight of her day. I would have to say the giraffe, rino, and penguins were her favorite. The whether was perfect! It was probabl about 70 today. Overall it was an enjoyable day despite all the walking and standing being six and a half months pregnant. Can't wait for next year!!!
